Kabel listrik Cu/XLPE/PVC/SWA/PVC dapat digunakan untuk pemasangan tetap di dalam dan di luar ruangan pada saluran kabel atau langsung di dalam tanah.
Kabel lapis baja kawat baja (Kabel SWA) adalah standar yang diterima untuk instalasi bawah tanah, dirancang untuk digunakan dalam pasokan listrik utama.
Kabel ini dilengkapi dengan perlindungan mekanis dan oleh karena itu cocok untuk penggunaan luar, penguburan langsung, dan area yang diperkirakan akan mengalami tekanan mekanis mendadak.
